Mercure Budapest City Center

We loved being right in the heart of everything, with amazing shopping streets, restaurants and the beautiful Danube all within easy walking distance. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and we were pleasantly surprised by the little extras like a free bottle of wine and lovely lunch box for our early morning departure. Our room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed including comfy beds, soundproofed windows and good air conditioning.

If you're looking for a luxurious stay with enhanced comfort and quality services, we highly recommend this place.

The hotel's location in the heart of the city's bustling pedestrian area was fantastic for exploring. It was situated in the center of the shopping district, close to the river, and within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. the hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The breakfast offered a good and varied choice, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and created a cozy atmosphere.

Newly renovated rooms, superb location near the river and shopping area with many restaurants. Alternative convenient access entry available. Room fulfilled our request for separate single beds. Breakfast had variety, but coffee could be improved. a great stay.

I was really surprised by the cleanliness and friendly service at this centrally located hotel. The continental breakfast had a great selection and the mini fridge was stocked with complimentary bottled water. The room itself was decently sized with a big, comfortable bed. The on-site restaurant and bar were also a lovely addition. this place served as a great central base for my non-stop visit to Budapest!

The room was small but convenient, equipped with a teapot, cups, and a minibar/fridge. The bathroom had towels, shampoo, and shower gel. Check-in was quick and early, allowing us to drop off our luggage and start exploring without any hassle. The breakfast offered a great variety of hot and cold meals, bakery items, fruits, and more, ensuring a satisfying start to the day. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and accommodating.

Great location near popular attractions and the river. The newly refurbished room was clean and fresh towels provided. We enjoyed the breakfast with plenty of choice.

The hotel bar was very expensive, making it less enjoyable to have a drink there. We had a negative experience with a ticket inspector scam on the metro, where my husband had to pay a fine for an invalid ticket.

You're just a stone's throw away from the river and you can easily explore the city on foot. There are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops in the vicinity, so you won't go hungry. The rooms are clean and cozy, with a comfortable bed and good lighting. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. The breakfast offers a diverse range of options to satisfy all tastes.

The pillows aren't very comfortable, so you might want to bring your own.
